If your Wyoming CPA license has already lapsed
What it actually takes to get a lapsed Wyoming CPA license back — the fee, the catch-up CPE, and exactly what triggers "lapsed" in the first place. Sourced the same way every fact on this site is: a board page plus the codified rule itself, never a guess.
'Activate From Expired Status' fee (061-1 Wyo. Code R. Sec1-13), confirmed on both the board's reactivate-certificate page and the codified fee schedule. A separate, much higher $1,000 'Reinstate' fee applies only to a REVOKED or SUSPENDED certificate via a disciplinary hearing -- not an ordinary missed-renewal lapse.
What triggers lapsed status: All certificates expire December 31 each year. Failing to complete online renewal (fee + CPE compliance) by that date moves the certificate to expired status effective the new year, automatically -- no separate grace period is specified. Reactivating within 120 days of expiration additionally triggers a $150 CPE Extension Processing Fee.
